I am ever more convinced that F-R-E-E-Writing is an indispensable tool for writers/bloggers of all kinds - beginning, emerging and experienced.

And also a transformative tool for life.

I have posted instructions on my blog and am keen to hear about your experiences.

Do you F-R-E-E-Write? How is it for you?

Read your article, Orna, writing has always been considered a safe outlet to vent emotions, and have been used as a therapeutic tool in counseling, etc.. Diaries were so popular at one time wheras now people tend to journal their intimate thoughts and emotions on their blogs. Good post.

No doubt this is therapeutic, I would point out that before writing one must understand words - and the vocabulary set of the layperson has become quite limited, seems to me.

I don't understand how studying vocabulary is a prerequisite to freewriting. When you freewrite, you write down anything, there is no structure, you just write. You don't need to pull out a dictionary to freewrite. It's mostly a jotting down of ideas and feelings, vocabulary has nothing to do with it.
