Facebook having a viral effect with just 100 users, is that true?

I've seen some blog articles where Facebook is having a viral effect with just 100 users, how it populates into 10,000 friends or somethin' like that.

I don't use Facebook much and I don't see how you can do that. Does anyone have some feedback on this? Thanks.

    I have a way of importing note and feeds using apps, if all the people added me as a friend they can use the 'blog friends' app to interact with me for better exposure. Lets try to be friends on facebook too? I dont use fb just for family, i use it for the web syndication part of it too.

    The way it's working lately, for some "groups" is one person gets friended by everyone and then those in the group friend each other. Sort of messy and complicated with a few restrictions. Also depends on what you want to do on Facebook - just community or using their Facebook pages to put up product...
