Hi - I am trying to link up my Facebook page so it shows up on BlogCatalog in "My Communities". I have tried following the instructions in "manage my communities" but I can't find the bit on Facebook I need to click to subscribe to.
Not a techno wizard
Can anyone help?
Cheers!

(I know - I'm completely shameless)

That actually doesn't answer the question. The BC explanation refers to a button on your profile that leads you to your status feed. That button is no longer where they say it should be and I can't find the link anywhere. If you FB users could steer me to the feed link, I'd be ever-so-appreciative. Thanks!

Don't mention Facebook to me right now, I'm still fuming!
I'll ask one of my friends whether he may have an answer to your situation. Will let you know ASAP! -
On another point in regards to the 'I know I am completely shameless'
I happen to think your blog is good, but the shameless thing turns me right off it.
If I thought it was worth following or voting for I would, I don't need continuing prompting.-
I don't think you sharing your personal opinion on something off-topic in terms that it "turns you right off" can then be justified as "friendly" advice about forum rules when you are called on it. I see you have a long way to go in your training, so you maybe don't know yet that unsolicited advice in any context is rarely welcome. Perhaps when you learn about vulnerable individuals suffering with depression, self-harm and alcoholism, you might appreciate why making flippant comments based on your own opinion is hardly best practice - in counselling or in life. Of the many therapists I have had to have, those with the skills of empathy and humility always get the best results.

I do agree that, after an introductory post, contuing to link-drop in your threads and responses will cause people to begin ignoring you. Unless you're including the link as a resource for an intended discussion, don't include them. Those are the rules, and it also helps keep people interested in your posts.
I'm sorry that you and Claire aren't communicating well on this, but she did make a valid point. -
I didn't realise that, having not been here for donkeys myself. The previous messages were about a comment at the end of my signature that was objected to on a personal opinion basis, but I see what you mean about the links. Thank you for clarifying the rules - I thought it was ok to include all details of myself when starting a new discussion. So many forums have different rules, and I'm getting my head around them slowly! Very slowly...
