Shameless blog promotion, to make you more aware that this isn't a very rare situation and to appeal to the voyeur in you...

The first part of the list is people who have died from anorexia or bulimia. I posted their pictures.

The rest of the list is people who are still living and have one of these problems now or had it in the past. There is no cure, so it's a daily issue for the rest of their lives.

I am almost finished with my treatment article.

Why is Sharon Osbourne on the list?

And Peta Wilson surprised me a bit - she used to be very healthy.

  Sharon used to be overweight and had some problems. Even after her gastric bypass, it was hard to resist her old ways.
  
  Peta had problems during her modeling days. I loved her Nikita series!

  I tried very hard to only list the people with confirmed or admitted problems. Yes, there are lots of people out there that we suspect have eating disorders.

  I worked with a woman with serious eating and mental disorders. I picked up on the eating disorder part by her eating habits.
  
  I didn't realize that one of her ways to control her weight was not just binge and purge, but also a healthy crack addiction.
