Fashionable Dogs?

I found some Juicy Couture items made especially for those toy dogs. I can't imagine my dog wearing one of those despite it looking really cute.

Do you dress your dogs up? Would you consider dressing your dogs?

  Lol yeah. I can imagine the dog house, tags, pillows and toys. But raincoats and fur coats?

Only to put them in winter sweater's because they have short fur and get the shivers. I have a chihuahua and a mutt.

But i have neighbors with chihuahua/Pomeranian mixes that dress them up in all sorts of sweaters and shirts and jeweled leashes and collars. They even bought a doggy jogging suit, and it didn't fit there smaller dog and gave it to my dog, and she hasn't worn it but the 1 time they gave to it her... its ugly and she has trouble walking as it has back legs on it too.

  My friend tried to dress her dog up and it ended up not wanting to move at all. My cousin's dog can somehow manage to remove its clothes. I think they hate it.

I think it's animal cruelty. Dogs are not meant to be play things or substitutes for babies. Although I think those sweaters are cute in the winter but those are more of a necessity rather than a fashion statement.

What irks me more is the people who get rid of their dog once they have a baby. I know it's hard having a newborn but don't get a dog if you think you are going to give it away once you have no need for it.

  Lol yeah. And it's not like the dogs can speak up for themselves when they're made to wear these things or neglected by their owners.

Dog fashion is cute if you like cute.
My Boxer Zoey wears a pony coat for the winter
Now I have to track down another since we brought home another boxer on Monday, his name is Spanky. Turned 3 months yesterday.
I have to get working on my dog blog, I haven't added anything in a while, but will add photos soon and let you see him
