Fatcow Hosting - Experiences?

I'm becoming less and less happy with my current host so I'm looking around to find a new one to host my blog on.
After some looking around I found that Fatcow hosting has a very good reputation when it comes to reliability and customer support. But looking deeper I also find a lot of reviews of people saying that for the last year or so the company has been going downhill with a lot of downtime and slow load times and crappy customer support.
I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with Fatcow and if those stories are true? At first glance they seem like a hosting dream come true. I don't want to buy into good promises again like I did with my current host.

well, you can do two hostings at one time, with your domain you can switch to any one of them !
i can provide you free auxialiary hosting from my account for a year with a ftp access, and mysql !
