    Tron

    Star Wars

    Creature from the Black Lagoon

Night of the Bloody Apes (ha ha - most folks don't know this one)

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (wooohooo - oh baby - you really have to be deep in a cult to know this one... But an old childhood friend who stabbed me with a pencil - Chad Demmon - in Coronado - which I still have the black mark on my elbow to prove it... LOL - well he had a part in it - which made me watch it. Wonder if he ever made it any further?)

OMG! you did Midnight Meat Train eh? I have read that short story by Clive Barker but haven't seen the movie yet. I know that will get to me * feels coldness creeping in*

Books of blood (the story), Dread and also pig blood blues are also due to hit the silver screen soon too. Good to see more barker stories getting made into feature films

    2. Sam1982
Heard any news about the Sequels to both Labyrinth / The Dark Crystal?

Last I heard the titles were "The troll king" (Labyrinth sequel) that centred around Toby as an adult.

And "The power of the dark Crystal" was/is the title of The dark crystal 2.
    3. cinemaobsessed
Power of the Dark Crystal still has a TBA release date... if Return to Labyrinth (book) exists, a movie is sure to follow... and you know it's gonna be oh soooo swell!

We'll definitely do a classic review for Labyrinth and keep digging on both sequels!
    4. Sam1982

Sigh. I love Labyrinth. I miss it. Jennifer Connely really did good in that. I never knew David Bowie before that movie as a kid.

Blood Simple, by Cohen Bros. before they got hugely famous. I also really liked the Gumball Rally movie, which was a better predecessor to the Burt Reynold's Smokey and the Bandit movies. Also, really like The Warriors. It was corney, but cool. I think the other cult film that competes on a more serious level and remains one of my top 10 favorite films--cult fave or not--is Blade Runner. It's also Harrison Ford's best movie, as well as Rutger Hauer's.
