I live in the two most amazing cities in the U.S, (imo). San Francisco and Boston!

We live in Detroit, which would NOT be on anyone's favorite city list. However, I will say that Royal Oak, Michigan is like the "cool-kid, resale store" of the state. I'd love to live above one of the stores on Main Street and work at the indie movie theatre until I'm too old to have a life.
    1. BridesMadeFit
Yes, Royal Oak is very nice : )

that's where i realized my love for my wife. a few years ago, while we were broken up, she sent me a letter with a date and time and location. it was on the spanish steps. we flew seperately and met there and got back together. i love rome! we got married last april.

I currently live in Philly, which should be at the top of any "way better than people think" list.

San Francisco is probably my favorite city in America (though I've never been to New Orleans). Elsewhere: Venice, Dublin, Barcelona, Amsterdam (really, it was the architecture, the canals, and the Van Gogh museum...nothing else...).

Barcelona, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, London... in no particular order. No, actually that's not true, that's exactly the order I want them in. The first two have the most amazing architecture, nightlife, are friendly and sociable and have great attitude. Edinburgh is pretty. London is there mostly out of loyalty and living here long enough to know all the secret good stuff I guess, but it's love/hate really.

Although I've been to cities in several countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey and USA), nothing is like the old cities of Italy. I guess my favorites are Rome, Florence, Venice and Siena.

the city i'll love forever is Paris (France). I was born there, my university was there, i work there and i want to die there. There are so much things to see, to hear and to taste in Paris. I love to walk nearby the Seine (the river that cross the city), when the sky is grey. It is so romantic, so gothic.

But i saw a lot of other beautiful cities (London, Toulouse, Nice).
