I believe several of you have kids, so if you will take my advice, please hop on down to Walmart and buy an electric ice cream churn (for under $20). It's so easy to make home made ice cream and you and your kids will love it! My favorite is cookies and cream but that one with coffee in it sounds good!

I'm so boring, but vanilla is my favorite, which I've made at home.
Didn't much like green tea ice cream. -
When I was growing up, my parents had an electric ice cream maker. My mother would make peach ice cream with peaches fresh from our two trees out front.
That ice cream was heavenly. Truly, I have not tasted its equal.
(But in answer to your other questions, I have tasted an ice cream called Blue Hawaiian -- a mixture of coconut & pineapple with blue coloring. It was hideous.) -

This discussion is killing me! I am trying not to eat that stuff and haven't had a craving for ice cream in a really long time, but every time I log in there it is, right at the top, taunting me!
1. Mr. Softee vanilla or chocolate in NYC is the BEST. Although I had vanilla at Graeters in Cincinnati and it was great!

After 20 years of having ice cream at midnight I do not think I have found any that I did not like. -
1. i like hazelnut with chunks of brownies.

There have been some interesting flavors described here! I am a little surprised that so many like strawberry--I simply wouldn't have guessed it. And again, I hope some of you try the home made ice cream! The most unique flavor of home made I have tried was peanut butter. It was okay. But I prefer vanilla or vanilla with peaches or strawberries!
