So I don't know where I have been the last couple of decades, but I have been listening to U2 a lot lately!

I'm curious to know if anyone else here at BC listens to U2 and what your favorite songs are.

My favorite songs so far are:

1. With or Without You
2. Pride
3. Sunday Bloody Sunday

How about you? What songs would you recommend?

No one mentioned "When Love Comes to Town" with BB King? I love that song. And Desire. And pretty much everything pre-1991. They rather jumped the shark with the Zoo tour, if I remember correctly.

The entire War album. I think I've listened to it a billion times.

Van Diemen's Land (Rattle and Hum)
Hawkmoon 269 (Rattle and Hum)
Gloria (October)

Didn't like much of their stuff after The Joshua Tree. They strayed a bit from what made them great, in my opinion. However, they redeemed themselves with their two most recent albums. They're pretty good. I still like their older stuff the most though.

Unlike most people, I much perfered 90's and now U2 over their 80's stuff.

My fav:

1. Stay(Faraway So Close)
2. Slug
3. Dirty Day
4. The Fly
5. Acrobat
6. Discotheque
7. Where the streets have no name
8. Drowning Man
9. Your Blue Room
10. Sometimes you can't make it on your own.

My favs come and go and that list is not accurate probably at all. For example, I use to hate "New York" but now I really like it for some reason.

wow nobody said 'The Unforgettable Fire', album or song. No 'Pride' or 'Bad' either. Or '4th of July'.

'War' might have brought the group into the mainstream but 'Pride' was the song that turned them into a superband. It is arguably their signature anthem.
