I love the absurd, so when the absurd makes the news it cracks me right up.
Some of my favorite absurd news stories are:
- The guys who robbed a store, then stopped to ask out one of the people being robbed.
- The drunk Santas who ran amok at a mall in New Zealand

My favourite was the man who said he was abducted by aliens and taken to the ozone layer to clean it. His job was a window cleaner. I never did find out what happened to him after that, probably in one of those jackets were you can sit and hug yourself all day.-
Oh my. That would have taken one heck of a squeegee.
