   I downloaded it, but being pretty new to FF I'm not sure what the benefits are. What are the new features that are supposed to be such an improvement over the old?

   I think that this has been a very silly stunt by firefox. I wrote a post in my blog about the stupidity of encouraging everyone to download it on release. If there is one thing I hate more than hype, it is slow download speeds.
   
   Interestingly my blog has had a couple of visits from someone at mozilla.com as a result. I hope they pass on the message to the PR department.
