I was going to do one, but I decided to write a bunch of it first, then make it.

My blog should be a story, does that count?
    1. JaydenVasara
hell yes that counts! just as long as it doesn't fall in true crime i think you're good.

I posted a short - very short - story May 28. One of two posts made that day. Also illustrated it. It is called "Approaching Winter". I like it. But no comments so I don't know how it might be perceived.

And it's good --- I feel like you need to make it MORE MORE MORE... like it's the prologue... to the beginning of the REAL story...

I have a number of short stories and novellas on my blog. They have their own separate page. Probably my personal favorite is one called Voice of the High School that - while written in first person - is NOT ME. Have fun.

I write aphorisms, thought-poems, which are stories without the text. Aphorisms have been referred to as one line essays or one line novels.

i've been to your blog before, i LOVED this line:

"Some lives, like some remarks, only make sense out of context."

      love your work!

i can really see what you're describing, enjoyed it!

My blog is satirical love letters to convicted murderer, Scott Peterson.
    1. JaydenVasara
very interesting premise, loved the satire. what gave you the idea to make a blog like that?

yes, my blog is short fiction prompts and story ideas, and then i post my response to the prompt. so you can read it to read my fiction, or to get an idea to start your own story. the prompts are kind of like a writing course: the first dozen or so were dealing with developing point of view, playing around with pronouns and such. like one was to write a first person story without using the first person pronouns more than twice, which was tough but i'm proud of how i approached it:)

fantastic set of exercises! gave me some ideas for my own work

I did one on my humor blog not long ago-- "Rip Slaughter: Zombie For Hire." I figured someone needed to try out the zombie 40s film noir genre.

I don't know if anyone had a clue what to make of it. But I thought it was fun to try. At the very least, it allowed me to write in a 40s Gal Friday type voice.

"It ain't pretty, but then it's an ugly world. You woik with what ya got."

      - i loved it, fun reading

We have two fiction writers who contribute weekly. Brianna Popsickle is an "Erma Bombeck" style and is very popular, and John Weber is a novelist with longer prose.

For some reason I can't get the proper RSS feed from BC, so if you are interested pick it up from the site, which is regularly updated.

i'm on my way to check it out!

I have one in my blog (lovelila.wordpress.com). It's definitely fluff, but I thought it would be fun to do, lol. It's called Indefinable.

We have a search utility with filters that are very useful when it comes to locating blogs of interest. We can type in search terms like categories and tags and choose filters and then narrow our searches. The search link is found on every BC page

Dang I just noticed the date 6/01/09 and the fact that the member who posted this has not checked in for 10 days. Oh well ...
