First Results with modifing child themes in Thematic - Anyone else?

I would also like any feed back about the layout and look of the site. Probably, I will tweak the colors and shadows before it is really done, but the basics are there I think. What do you think?

after some significant modification. All done with css and changes to the functions.php. No changes in the parent theme.

    Hey, I went on the salmon site. It is beautifully done - your pictures are fabulous and the sliding photos are a very nice touch. I was really impressed. You are very talented with this stuff. Did you do it yourself?

      Thanks, yes I created it myself, using a real basic theme as a starting point.
