Wow, i miss that. If it snows here in Miami ever, it's the end of the world.

I like Florida, most my family lives there, but I don't like the humidity.. I am a cold weather person I guess.

That looks amazing! In the Netherlands, the snow doesn't fall like that

I have never been to the Netherlands but plan to someday! It's on my bucket (to do) list!

Perfect! Here in Illinois, I'm bemoaning the fact that my garden is dying back... but a few inches of the white stuff would sure be a shock! Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks MidwestMom, I truly do enjoy snow and winter! I guess I am living in the right place!

YIKES! I'm so glad I left the cold north behind me years ago. If the white stuff is your thing then enjoy. I'm an autumn fan and that's what I'm blogging about today. It's a gorgeous autumn day here. It's sunny and warm and there's no danger of frost as yet.

Autumn is so pretty here but it only lasts about two weeks if that long. I am a winter person. I love the snow! Tho that doesn't mean that near the end of winter that I am not looking forward to it being gone!

We just hit Autumn and that's my favorite season of the year. But it won't be long before the snow starts flying and all I can think is UGH UGH UGH.

A snow bunny, I am NOT.

When I was younger I was a snow bunny and skier. Then fibromyalgia got me and I could no longer tolerate the cold as being cold became synonymous with suffering pain. Thereafter, my appreciation for winter became a spectator sport only --it's lovely to look at but that's it.

Autumn is so beautiful here but only lasts a minute or so it seems. I love Autumn, and the colors in Autumn are the colors that look best on me I think!

Actually, I agree. I adore looking at the snow - especially when it's sunny out and the just glistens. It's spectacular.

But shoveling it, driving in it and slipping on it ... not so much.

Glad the scarecrow is bundled up! It's about 80 degrees in NYC and humid.

I was gonna put a snowsuit and warm winter hat on the scarecrow, but never got around it.. lol

Incredible picture! The snow has been holding off in Whitehorse so far. It has been snowing in the mountains which means it won't be long before I can post pictures like this.

Thanks for sharing such a cool pic!

Can't wait to see them Richer44! There is nothing like a layer of white snow to hide the ugly dried up browns for the winter.

Love the sun, but miss the seasons.
    1. Arcticulates
I grew up in California and Florida. Both are season limited...lol
I missed the seasons desperately and now I have them and love it!

About 80 degrees in West Virginia. Thank goodness! That house has got to get done!

Can't wait to see the finished product. I am so excited for you Shirley!

I can't wait until it starts snowing around here!
    1. Arcticulates
See! People think I am crazy when I make statements like that! lol! I can't help it tho.. I love the snow!
    2. MissSuzie
I do too! I'd take snow over summer and sun any day.
    3. dbowles1017
same here. Except for this year, because I don't want to turn an hour trip to class into a 2-3 hour trip
    4. Arcticulates
@dbowles, I hear that! Since we have almost 9 months of winter here, we get so used to it and drive as if it isn't there. lol! I always feel bad for the military personnel that have no experience with winter driving, seems we are always pulling them out of the ditches, till they get used to it.
    5. dbowles1017
Im used to it, it's just I don't want to wake up and then drive 2 hours for a 4 hour class, then drive 2 hours back.

    Beautiful picture. I love snow too but I can't think of living in a snowy place. {{SHIVERING}}
