This article stirred up some curiosity for me --

There is a poll going about this underneath the article -- so my question is, Do you think the government should be able to seize private property in matters like this? Let me hear your thoughts!

the government should not have to worry about those things -
Eminent domain has spiraled way out of control, even to the point that it can be used to force sale to private corporations for things like building strip malls. In this particular case, though, I think there's a bigger issue--with the government trillions of dollars in debt and the economy collapsing all around us, it's hard to imagine anything more immoral than pushing for the creation of a $58 million memorial.
