Ha, Ha, Ha.... I just wanted to see how many "hits" this would get!

Seriously, I WILL NOT follow people just because they follow me. The people and blogs that I choose to follow are ones that I'm generally interested in.

After all I do at least browse what I follow. I'm not going to bog it down with senseless follow me and I'll follow you type relationships! LOL

  I just in a "goofy" mood, but there is a half-way reason for the post. I'm tired of seeing the groups (that I follow) bogged down with I'll follow you if you follow me post. It's so annoying, because true discussions get buried!
  
  Not only that but senseless following doesn't really help anyone with PR or SEO!

  Well said. Nothing is more aggravating than seeing forum threads posted that say "follow me - I'll follow you" or "comment me - I'll comment you" and then invite link dropping.
  
  Seeing them makes me want to say: "Hello! This is a social network. Get with program and learn how to actively promote your blog. Write up an interesting bio and blog description, visit other blogs and comment, comment, comment."
