I have this online friend who had just set-up her blog. Where she advices others. And mind you she has no ads or anything like that. But for last few days she hardly had any one coming for advice. I tried to help but couldn't. So here I request you to please visit her blog and ask something. She is a newbie and I suppose she needs our help for her genuine effort. Please consider as a goodwill gesture towards her by BC community.

I personally think it looks far too pink and the advice is superficial at best.

Hmmm ..... I would say that this blog is aimed at pre-pubescent girls. Why was it that kim88 wanted us to visit this bubblegummer's pink blog again?

Its OK but at least you ask any thing. As I have said she is new and needs encouragement. If you feel Its too pink tell her. But I have just one request to all don't be harsh to her.

Here's the deal. Please don't speak for your friends. Just speak for yourself. If your friend wants help she can post a thread and ask for it, okay? That way we can speak to her directly and she can indicate exactly what she would like help with.
For example, if she wants sources for free blogger templates to replace the one she has you can find those links in the searchbox. I answered a question on this yesterday so they won't be hard to find.

When your friend asks for advice in a forum thread I will be glad to provide it and I'm sure others will too. As we don't know what she needs or wants advice on and we don't know what her goals are, until she speaks to us the only advice we can give will be subjective and will vary from person to person. -

where are you going I said she has a advice blog. Of the changes in template I will help her and lead her to your given site. -
I actually DO think that people should be able to ask whatever they want on this forum. No one has to give advice if he/she doesn't want to--but if others want to give advice to this friend, what's the problem? I don't see one. -

In the case of my blog, this site BC will not allow my co-bloggers to comment or post discussions because we share a blog. I therefore have to speak for my friends (co-bloggers) until this policy is changed.

You should tell your friend to use a spell check. I glanced only briefly and my eyes are still burning from all the grammatical and spelling errors. OUCH!

Spellcheck has nothing to do with networking. Spelling has to do with being careful when writing.

To be clear I'm speaking only for myself and when I can I'm willing to help other BC members with blogging questions right here on this forum. That's what members do here at Blog Catalog. We help each other. Also to be clear I will help only those who can speak for themselves.

I'm very sorry, but I burst out laughing. Does it mean I'm evil?
It's really cute though, but yeah, verrrry "pink". In all the possible ways. I think it made me laugh because it reminded me of the "reader's column" of the magazines I used to read as a teen.

I think everyone is being very nice to Kim88's friend, but why not let her run the blog the way she wants? She'll always get clicks and days without clicks. If she changes everything in her blog what will be left of her own contribution? Thus said, it is touching to see how everybody is willing to help.

Personally guys I like the pink! But, maybe that's because I made the blog! Also it was kinda more geared for teenage girls. But, thank you kim for the help.
