Last Fall, I did a multi-part story in my ocean/diving blog, The Right Blue about a series of dives my husband and I did on a shipwreck in the Red Sea, accompanied by some of my underwater photos of the scene. A lot of BC folks seemed to enjoy it. So...

We're now doing a new series about diving on a different wreck, called the Zenobia -- off the coast of Cyprus this time. This huge ship sank on its maiden voyage in 1980, and it is the biggest wreck we've ever dived on. The new series recounts the story of the the vessel's sinking, and our seven dives on the wreck -- including photos of what we saw of the ship and its very interesting cargo.

So far, I've posted two episodes of the multi-part series (illustrated, of course).

Introduction to the series:

therightblue.com/2008/04/diving-wreck-of-zenobia-introduction.html

and a brief history of the ill-fated vessel:

Next will be stories about the actual dives we did on the wreck of the Zenobia. If you're interested in true adventure stories, come and have a look.

Or even those who don't. I just wanted to put a word in here because I'm NOT a big outdoor/nature person at all, but Bobbie's narration and artful use of photography is really compelling...you just might DEVELOP an interest in underwater adventure if you drop by!

I heard rumors that people like you exist, but I never believed it.

      Wow.

I mean, I just couldn't imaging anyone can go through life not being a big fan of the outdoors and nature!!

@ Ender - Sorry the next episode is not up yet. Things like sleep and work intervened. (Remember work???) I still need to plug in the photos and tweak the draft a tiny bit. It will go up later today, I promise. And when I publish episode 3, I'll come here and put the link on this thread. I'm touched by your enthusiasm for the story.

@ Jenn (TSR) - Thank you so much for the Stumble. I really appreciate it.

@ Tiffany - Thank you. When we launched The Right Blue last summer, we really believed that only friends, family, and other divers would be interested in the content. It's very exciting for us to learn that people who do not fall into one of the above categories enjoy the blog, too.

      WHAT??? it's STILL not done?

dammit, don't you know work is optional? i mean i've not had to work since july of last year, so come on. i mean what an EXCUSE!
      lol

(what? me? in a mood today? maybe it's cuz i'm STILL listening to the unicorn song ...)

I thought the title said "Underwear adventure stories". Something is wrong with me, I know.
    1. sellytapgirl
      That's what I thought too

ROTFL - Sounds a little more salacious than what I wrote about -- but definitely has some possibilities. Hmmm. I'll have to think about this...
