Is this it? Do you think this signals a recovery? Now it wont be too long before Detroit begins to recruit. Catterpillar has already started hiring. And there are other items today in google news regarding housing. And then Motorola has done a comeback, Microsoft of gung ho in Windows 7.. It's strange, I see good news getting splashed all over, even though wall street has recently had negative musings

You never know with the auto industry. It's so up and down, even in good economic times. -
My husband works on the periphery of the auto industry, and IMO, until there is serious restructuring, profitability cannot be guaranteed to be sustainable.
The ills of Detroit are deep, CrazyTsu. It will probably take more than a brief uptick to signal real recovery. -
Wasn't Ford the only one of the US big three that didn't take the government bail out money?
