Everyone,

I have just switched my theme to Brian Gardners News Revolution WordPress Template.

It has provided me with great exposure to all categories within my blog. With the new redesign I am conducting a contest to give away 2 revolution theme pack by Brian.

Hello the news one look good as the other,however the price is way out of reach of any user that I know.There over 5k of free theme and over 1k paid theme up to 56 usd. In my opinion you would be better having subscription to your theme for 6 month 1 year 2 years lifetime. And publish 1 new one every month for your customer.
Contest were the contest look more like publicity of your design to me?
As you cant comment to it. And are comment need registration if so why would anyone bother. Post it on my site? Are you nuts? My site as to do with news so granted it in that category however to post on theme I consider over price. Were the support forum for your themes? you send user to another domain for forum and there no category for your design.

Sorry if I sound biter it not my way's however just try to be frank and honest. More though was needed before you post that discussion.

Actually that is a kick-ass theme and quite easily personalized from what I hear. If I had a blog with which I expected to make money you would bet news version would be on my list.

The design belongs to Brian Gardner not the author of this post. I am going to
assume the author purchased it for his contest or won it or something.

Some of you may want to think about this one.

  the contest, you are right is in order to get more publicity. I have discussed if he disagrees, and he put his thoughts in to it as well. he gets his share of publiscity as I, its just marketing

If I was to ever go back to wordpress and still debating all depend on joomla 1.5 new direction.
Your theme would be the only one I would ever consider using as it those lots of joomla function and I bet with less sql queries.
Dont give up like I posted on your blog it the best I seen for any news portal for wordpress.

Brian has definitely got some mad skills. I love his themes. So much so that I considered starting some kind of news blog JUST so that I could use his themes. Thats how sweet they are.

If I could use the theme, I would seriously enter. As it is, it would be wasted on me, so good luck to everyone else!

Oh, and misterdoodi and ianternet, both you guys got the goods there...nice work both of you.

Wow your new product is great...I always wanted to use my commenter's email addresses without their knowledge. Now you know why a lot of people won't comment on blogs.....by the way the people who leave comments aren't "Optin in" they are engaging in discourse not asking to be spammed! On the bright side your site looks good

thanks!!! I dont spam at all, I am even hesitant in sending emails sometimes if my campaigns are a little off topic, lol

but I provide a double optin so they can disregard the first email and never receive it again if they decide to leave another comment, since it is always checking the DB if the email exist - if it does - no email is forwarded

but if they do decide to subscribe I provide them with an exclusive gift for just leaving a comment on my blog

so far no complaints - and I have had it on my blog for about 4 months when I was testing it, before making it public
