What a fabulous way to hone your skills and learn new words! I donated 310 grains of rice. Thanks for sharing, this is cool!

My high was 36 before I missed two in a row. I left at 500 gains and a score of 34.

      42 would be insane!

Okay, who's going to count thirty seven million grains of rice? I facilitated 800 grains. Very cool. It didn't stop me when I missed words, I got to keep going.

hrm, it SOUNDS like a good idea "aww, how nice, we are giving people rice". and i understand that some help is better than no help but.... how do we even know that the rice is actually getting there and they arnt just exploiting peoples sympathy?

41...I guess that is pretty decent. Will have to try again tomorrow...man, I hate these addictive little things...but, it's for a great cause!

I still am not convinced that "free rice" isn't some sort of con.

But working assumption for the moment is that it is a legitimate charity.

I don't see how people visiting the website and participating would make money for anyone. But, I'm not a confidence trickster, so I could me missing something.

Another point: Has anyone been able to verify that people who need it have actually gotten rice?

Don't get the wrong idea: I think that "free rice" is a fine idea, if a quirky one.

It says on the site that the rice is paid for out of the sponsor's money and the rice is then donated to the United Nations. The site only started this month so I really don't know.
