Most of us are still using the old fashion way of getting traffic to our site as we use the:-

social bookmark,
article,
podcasting,
submitting url,
link exchange
and alot more ways'

But do this get you the traffic that you wanted or just by using PPC (pay per click) the easy way. But how good is PPC and how much are you willing to pay for it.

Let's get our hands dirty...

Well it just doesn't apply to blog, because our blog is not set to sell any products. How will we earn back the money invested? Are you willing to spend $5,000 on campaign each month? The PPC is more for enterprise or blogger that want to make money selling affiliate products. Not promoting their blog lol.. Better buy a $450 review on JohnChow, that how you will get traffic and exposure..

Well if you put it that a way, but most of our member's do PPC even just for blogging. And I think that may due to their pocket size. But for those who are utilising their blog with affiliate hope that PPC does generate more than what they have put in.

If I can be at all helpful. PPC is great if you are using the right type of capture page or squeeze page. Dollar for dollar I think you are better off capturing names and trying to convert them into sales through your autoresponder.

    I have done both.
try and sell products directly through ppc. I also just marketed my splash pages. At the end of the day I make more money from my email list then I do any advertising.

Err when you get it , free traffic is best. Assuming its targeted traffic.
