Hi everyone! Are you on Twitter? If so, I've created a large selection of Twitter badges you can put on your website/blog to encourage your readers to follow you. Best of all, they're free! :-)

Stumbles, Diggs, Tweets, etc. are MUCH appreciated.

No problem! I'll be making more later in the weekend (yay for 3-day weekends). I'll update my twitter when they're posted. twitter.com/dianafreedman

Yup, I Tweeted as well. (And am already using my nifty Twitter badge-- far superior to the text link I'd had!)

I read that post of yours a couple of days ago, Diana, and your badges look great.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to use any of them on my free Wordpress blog...
Nice work though!-
I think you can add it by using the Widget feature. Here's how:
1. Save the badge of your choice from my site
2. Go to your blog dashboard. In the left-hand navigation, click Media --> Add new
3. Choose the file from your computer to upload, save all changes.
4. Once uploaded, click "view" on that image in your list of media.
5. Right click the image, and select Properties. Copy the URL where that image is located in your Wordpress files.
6. Go back to your blog dashboard, click Appearance --> widgets
7. Add the Text widget (Arbitrary HTML)
8. In this widget, type in:
OPEN BRACKETa href="twitter.com/USERNAME"CLOSE BRACKET OPEN BRACKETimg src="PASTE URL HERE"CLOSE BRACKET
(OPEN BRACKET = < and CLOSE BRACKET = >)
9. Save changes. All done!
Let me know if this works for you!
I'll make an instructional post for wordpress.com and wordpress.org users in the next couple days, since I've received this question a couple of times. -
I can?!! Because I spotted a couple that I really like.
I did give it a shot the other day, and made it all the way to step #4... Then I didn't have a clue where to go from there, so I just linked my Twitter in my blogroll and left it at that.
But I'll sure give it another shot. There is a little blue badge that I think would look great...
Thank you for your help. I'll let you know if I work it out.
