"A judge in the US state of South Carolina has ordered the closure of a funeral home where an employee cut off the legs of a 6ft 7in (2m) body.

The worker used an electric saw to sever James Hines's legs at the calf to make his body fit the coffin in 2004."

That is horrible. I'm sure he could have just bent his knees or something. Can you imagine the image? He probably looked like Dorf from the "Dorf Goes Fishing" videos.

This is icky, but in the grand scheme of things, I'm rather ambivalent about this... comparing it to say willfully killing people by shipping tainted peanut butter, or the police executing suspects in the street... *shrugs*

I knew about the Salmonella outbreak in peanut butter but I thought you were referring to someone sending peanut butter knowing it was tainted. Sorry. It still sucks, I know.

      they did.

they knew it was salmonella tainted, and shipped it anyway.
