Getting visitors from search engines is the best way to get traffic. I worked my search terms to where my blog usually gets on to the front page of google. But i wrote about some random keywords in a recent post. People are typing "eddie murphy fly into flying" into google search and coming to my site. www.bloggernoob.com/funny-keywords/17/
have you noticed any funky keywords ur blog gets hits from? What are they?

Not usually, but your post inspired me to check again this morning. Found I got two visitors for who is searching me on google. In fact, my blog "Clio and Me" comes up first for those terms. Go figure. The post itself is about Google, but it's about how I got some neo-nazi pages when I looked up some historical terms. And why would someone even type in this kind of search?

Hoho.. same case here: eh.web.id/search-engine-keywords-this-blog/,
i've got some visitor came into my blog that search for porn stuff (in Indonesian Language). Maybe this is "Google Dance" ? -
On my blog at grizzledoldtraveler.blogspot.com I posted a couple of days ago about the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, which displays several shrunken heads. I included "shrunken heads" as a label, which has made me realize that subconsciously I must want to post more about shrunken heads! If I have enough posts about shrunken heads, who knows what sort of traffic I'll get? I'll start getting really worried if Adsense begins to advertise for shrunken heads.

I think my friend Raincoaster over on wordpress is the queen of funky search terms. If you google "mummified beaver porn" she'll come up as #1 on google.
Can anyone really top "mummified beaver porn?"
She was recently 7th on google for "Japanese fairy porn dominatrix" - I mean seriously, who doesn't want a piece of that action?
