Funny AND True dog stories

Please share your funny dog stories here, we all know how crazy they can be !

Mine:
While trying to sleep, I could hear my Beagle (puppy) at the foot of my bed licking away. I assumed he was cleaning his paw or something and it was too dark to see anything. Then my foot felt wet, which wasn't good because I was wearing socks...
I quickly rolled over and turned on the light only to see him sitting at the end of the bed. He was leaning back peeing into the air and trying to catch it in his mouth !

Guess he was thirsty?

True story, and have the sock to prove it.

    This is true, but not funny.

    We have an almost 10 year old chihuahua, Molly- (your avatar looks almost identical to her). We lived in a house where the railing at the top of the stairs was not closed. I would block off the baby's room with baskets (moved to a gate when they needed it) since the baby napped on a futon on the floor. Well, baby got out and climbed over the basket (time for that gate!) and was headed to the railing-less stairs.

    I heard Molly whining and called her downstairs figuring she had to go out. She kept whining and I trudged up the stairs muttering about the "annoying dog". She was pacing back and forth and whining at me and when I got up there, yep--there was baby just inches from the stairs!

    We love Molly, even if shee is OCD.

      Yeah not funny, but what a great story!
      It's amazing how they have a sense for situations like that.
      My brother has 2 chihuahuas, funny little guys, and definately OCD..:)
      They actually scare my beagle by running around in circles when they are together.

    One time my husband and I was having sex and our dog got all geeked up, running around to find toys to bring in the bedroom. On one trip he found a rubber ring toy and put it over my foot which was hanging over the edge of the bed and he started pulling on it. We started laughing so hard that the "romance" went out of the moment.
