80s music is having such a resurgence now. I was just writing about this on my blog this morning, how even the grocery stores are playing it over the loudspeakers.

Major Tom, Safety Dance, Land Down Under, Land of Confusion, Take On Me (which is entirely too catchy even though I don't know what he's saying...)

    Great to hear!

I would give anything to go back in time and live in the 1980s all over again. I know we had no internet but then music was so amazing.

I wish kids today would give the music a chance. Though they really don't play it on TV anymore so they never get a chance to hear it.

Ah, but we had Atari-- and arcades, and roller rinks-- and at the time, we thought that was all pretty darned good.

Sure they do. They've got a lovely car commercial with a terrific INXS song buried in the background. That reminds me that I should post Michael Hutchence's name on the "Dead too soon?" thread.

I can't see anything anymore from playing too many video games in the 1980s. My eyes are gone. ha

No No No No No. It is the music of the devil and Eastern Europe.
