Hi from our 6th day of detox at the Spa here in Thailand as we crave food so badly it's not even funny....
We had to share this with all you Blogcats - having met 2 people that follow their purpose to eat raw food (she lost 160 lbs in weight)...

That'd be terrific for me, except for the loss of potatoes and rice. I love my starch and cannot imagine trying to sneak either of those into my food raw. The potatoes would be alright, but the texture would wrong. The rice, well, that'll never fly.
And no bread?! No can do. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, but man cannot live on...err...carrots alone.-
LOL and we are craving a slice of pizza right now as we approach day 7 of our detox diaires.... www.gosmelltheflowers.com

I think the raw lifestyle is very admirable, and doesn't seem too difficult with the help of experiences raw eaters. I know I'm not ready to take that plunge yet, because I love pasta too much and eat it nearly every day... BUT I have heard that once you eat raw for a while, when you eat non-raw food that you feel really gross, so that encourages you to continue eating raw. Good luck to you! You can totally do it

I say go for it if it works for the people trying it. Bit extreme for me, but I LOVE lots of fruits and veggies anyway.
