I just found out that Proof Positivity is considered a link farm. When I use a link it's strictly for educational purposes or I'm giving credit to an original author.

I know it's bad for page rank but good for technorati rank.

So, What can I do? I'm not sure I like PP being called a link farm and I certainly don't want copywrite infringement thrown on me. Is there any winning with this?

Where did you find out it's considered a link farm?

Bad neighborhood link exchange tool www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm

Funny thing is My Thoughts has far more links and the warning on it or whatever isn't as high.

I just ran the check on mine, and it thinks my own thrift shop decorating blog is a bad neighborhood, as well as the Humor-Blogs.com directory, two very credible humor bloggers I know, Claire's British Speak blog section, my friend Lidian's vintage recipe blog, and a TON of other things.

    I don't think it's very discriminate.

That's kind of a relief. I don't know any way of getting rid of those links when they take you to an organization like Girl Scouts or giving an author the credit due to them.

Exactly. It's telling me anchor text in my own Blogger profile is a bad neighborhood. I can't see a darned thing here that should cause an issue.
