I'm pretty ignorant on how stats are tracked and what is effective and accurate and what is not.

I noticed on a particular post of mine that Google Analytics shows 234 while my Wordpress stats plugin shows 293.

Why would there be such a difference between the two?
It stood out because I average about 50 per post normally, Google Analytics and Wordpress stats plugin usually vary only by two or three.
