I happen to hear on the radio this morning that we should use the internet more to read the news and stop subscribing to the newspapers. Save The Earth.

It got me thinking if that makes sense. Since I started blogging, I have actually stopped reading the newspapers and have been writing less with pen and paper.

Two search requests on the internet website Google produce "as much carbon , dioxide as boiling a kettle", so writes a report. There are 25 posts on this subject on BC.

I am not a scientist, just a normal housewife who is frustrated as it is with the amount of time kids are spending watching television, using playstation games and what not gadgets.

Your thoughts? Is the internet contributing to CO2 emissions than all other machines we are already using at home?
