The recent article there is about Google Insight for Search: www.google.com/insights/search/#

According to Blog Coach "Google Insights for Search is a unique tool that can help you determine when to post about specific topics based on how reader (and potential reader) interest in the topic changes over time."

I never knew about this search engine before today. So after reading the Blog Coach article I decided to check it out!

It's pretty cool, in my opinion! Homeschooling is my blog topic, so I typed it in the search field.

It showed that late summer early fall (Aug-Sept) there is a spike in searches regarding homeschooling. (Which makes sense seeing that's the time school is about to start LOL)

That right around Christmas there is a huge drop. Again that makes sense seeing by Christmas time people are already set and aren't going to be doing much "searching". LOL

Then after the holidays things pick back up, but level out with a slight dip until late summer/fall when it will spike again.

Anyway I thought all of this was cool and a helpful tool so I wanted to share!
