Never even realized it, but my old blog got a PR4 now, and my current one is a PR2 rofl.

Sigh... I finally got a PR back after losing mine but it was a 4 now I am a three... that sucks

Should I care if I am not the monetization type?

Just curious because I'm not sure what the PR rating does for me.

      Possibly.

The implied higher traffic that goes with a higher page rank could be valuable for bloggers who have a message to spread, like the attention, or believe that their art deserves a wide audience, for example.

      Im not either

Hmmm, maybe I should start to care more.

I have a message to spread, dammit!

My Accidental Environmentalist went up to PR5 and My main domain Jolly Green Girl went from 3 to 2... but I haven't had any advertisers banging at my door nor has my traffic improved significantly. Eh, it is what it is, I guess.

ohh, it's already april 1st here ..... April 1st, and the time is 1:20am

      Heh. Good one.

I thought this was the only topic the folks here would take seriously!

Speaking as a current PR4 owner, pagerank is overrated anyways... doesn't really have the same meaning as it once did and still don't know why people make such a HUGE deal about it. Does PR change your traffic? Visitors? Monthly revenue? Probably not...

Is this in progress? or, "done" ?

of all my blogs, I do see two changes - my 1800HART blog went from pr0 to pr2 .. and my H-E-N blog went from pr0 to pr1 .. nothing else changed for me so, I still don't care.

hehe, read the seventh comment and you'll know .......
    1. offendedblogger
Sorry, I made it the 8th one now *snickers*.
    2. PetLvr
Okay then. Then, I still don't care and my PR went up on those two sites because I haven't looked in a long while since I last didn't care

I suppose we will subjected to a lot of false April Fools stuff before the next two days are out..

      *sigh*

The most I ever get is a PR of 2.

PR effects the advertisers who advertiser on your site. A page with a higher PR is worth more. More of a chance that somebody will stumble it since more links to it are online. It makes it more valuable.

haha, not nice to play with my emotions!

how long does it take for a new blog to get ranked? do they have a specific date for ranking..?
  16. LinkyLove
I think they have a new PR counting system as well:
3 of my blogs went from 2 to zero but
I got compensated by one that went from 1 to 7!

All in good balance it seems :-)

I just checked all of mine -- no change anywhere, at least in the Google toolbar.
