   but I'm aware that google is looking at twitter.

   In all honesty, I see them (google) getting their hands on twitter before going with another blogging platform.

   hmm ... although, I doubt it .. it is interesting. Google bought Youtube in October 2006 - after Microsoft introduced "Live" in September 2006 after major conferences in August 2006 that was a lot of hype of SERP and Google videos .. Wasn't Matt Cutts just talking about how great Wordpress and SERP is recently? That would seem to be reason enough for a watch list for an August 2009 Purchase of something. Then, recent news about how wordpress.com or wordpress.org being managed by wordpressmu or was it vice versa?
   
   *desparately wants to see some rumours fly this summer ... heh
