And when they do, you just dismiss them. I seem to remember you criticizing me for, according to you, not being fair in my posts and telling me that I should try to have rational discussions or something like that. How can anyone have a rational discussion with you about this, when you only see one side? - Your own.

And BTW, "...plan to cut taxes would have the same affect," should have been 'effect.'

From the Repubtilian plan:

Congress has sought to use fiscal policy “stimulus,” although this approach – which has never proved consistently useful except in boosting government spending – may do more harm than good. CBO projects that whatever short-term benefits might arise, the legislation will reduce output over the longer run, mainly because its heavy borrowing will impede capital formation.

The Repubtilian plan to cut taxes would have the same affect. The Repulsivicans caused the current economic disaster. Asking them for a solution would be insane.

Looks pretty numbered to me. I only looked at the summary tables, but it looks like they at least had something to write down.

Anyways, the GOP, as is very normal for a (very) minority party, will not be presenting many ideas right now because all eyes are on Obama. Nothing they do will determine how they do anyways except maybe a little bit of good grassroots campaign work (which still won't be the majority of it) and there is nothing that can spoil a good campaign like divisiveness. Even if they had the best ideas in the world, it is how OBAMA does that will determine whether a victory in 2012 is possible, and campaign work (the only thing they can do for themselves) will only decide a near-tie.

The GOP doesn't have any ideas other than deregulation and tax cuts. They're pretty much just furniture any more.

So the party of 'NO' or 'NO NEW IDEAS' is now the party of 'EXTREMELY VAGUE IDEAS'??

The GOP introduced their 'Alternative Budget Proposal' last week, but it doesn't contain any numbers.

Is this a stall tactic, diversion, joke?

Anyone have any insight?
