      But a troll would just come to the new blog too. If it were that bad, then I'd leave Blogger too. At least with Wordpress I could label those comments Spam and not look at them any more.

      Nah, just kill the troll! It's easy, get the troll on your blog a few times, look at your stat finder, get his or her IP address, trace it, then go public with the fact that you now know where the troll lives.
      
      Trolls don't like that. I've done it, it's fun.

      I should explain... I did it for a fellow blogger, who was getting hammered by a really horrible troll. I'm talking death threats here. I like this blogger a great deal, she's awesome...and this troll really pissed me off. So, well...I baited him, lured him over, did what I do...and whalla! No more death threats to my blogging friend.
      
      I don't care what people say on my blog though....so if you ever have a problem with a troll, you let me know

    This troll doesn't follow along, or blog, or is a part of BC. Too long of a story to go into here though. But this troll = an ex-wife and a few of her work cohorts. She's just plain trouble.

       But I removed any and all ID or nicknames she'd recognize. (And she isn't that smart.) The current blog is created under a totally new account and email. and I'm not going to delete the old blog entirely. I'll just move posts around to keep her busy and confused. I'm thoughtful like that, natch...

       Oh. Well, if she gets you again, you might want to move to Wordpress.com. Then you can mark her and her cohorts comments spam and be done with it.
       
       Actually you could do the same thing now with Blogger if you let Haloscan handle your comments. Haloscan also allows you to block specific IP addresses or IP address ranges.
