So did anyone actually stand in line for the FREE Grand Slam at Denny's?

I tried, but the lines looked too much like this:

For a moment, I actually thought this was related to the Six Nations Rugby.

A picture speaks a thousands words. That was priceless. Best thread of the day.

Btw the grand slam breakfast is not big. It's just four things, like two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two pancakes, and two pieces of toast. Costs about 5 bucks, its actually the cheapest meal on the menu. Not worth standing in line for two hours.

Put it this way: It would take two grand slams just to fill me up.

Have you been channeling my husband? What is it with men who can eat and eat and eat?

That's not the point. Anyone and everyone knows that a good meal in a restaurant costs at least 10 bucks, maybe even 15..Since I don't tip

It's the cheapest thing on the menu, even the mozzarella sticks cost more then the grand slam. To see people standing in line around the corner just for that is kinda sad. Reminds me of the soup kitchens we see from the depression era. The thing that bugs me the most is those people sure as heck don't look poor.
