Graphic Designer Needed! $100 Prize!

Hello Everyone! I am sorry, I don't want to spam at all but my Fiance and I need submissions for our wedding invitation contest. You can win $100 for making a wedding invitation design and we will also attribute you on the invitation.

Any particular music that you both like?

  The biggest thing we will need is a way to put directions or other things in there, such as a pocket, something like that.
  
  Music....*ponders*....I don't know how to explain this one because we tend to be...eclectic. Yes, that is the term I will use. We bounce around a lot between genre's.

OK - well give me an idea - and do you want names?

I'll work on this tonight... I have SUN out where I am and some rainbow trout calling my name right now. LOL!

Anyhow --- I see the stuff on your blogs - and I snagged the pictures - and have some ideas forming in my head.

Will you be printing these yourselves? Or will you be taking the picture straight to a printer to print on heavy paper? Because that does make a difference on what can be used - especially if there will be IMPRINTING or raised items.

I would suggest, if you are planning on going unique - purchasing your own heavier stock - and printing them yourselves - especially if you're planning on using pockets - Because you can glue the pockets on the heavier stock paper yourselves - otherwise you can use a TRI-FOLD. glue the bottom side of the third fold - and have a Pocket...

It would save you a tremendous amount of money - because your cost would be:

Paper
Glue
Ink

vs the cost of the printers - plus with a TRI FOLD on decent stock - you can mail them in business envelopes... And you can get fancier envelopes to do this with.

Anyhow - please suggest a couple of artists that YOU BOTH enjoy...

My reason for this is simple --- I believe music often portrays a window to the soul. And in seeing that window - it allows you to "feel" more in touch with the people that you are connecting to... And it allows you a brief moment of understanding of those people... and gives you a better insight of what they might enjoy.

Strange - yeah - I know - but a quirk of mine.

  Sorry about that, I wasn't online after this was posted lol. Either way, the artist that we both really like is Frank Sinatra (our first dance is his version of Dancing Cheek to Cheek) And I believe we are going to be printing ourselves, if not we have a good friend that owns a printing shop that will do it for us for cheap.
  
  And if you would like to put names on just use Jana and Cameron.

Not at all - I'm a night bird (somewhere someone in my family must have been from Transylvania.)I'm just getting ready to hit the hay/coffin.
