For years I've been hand coding the HTML of the various websites I had and eventually "graduated" to Adobe Go Live. I'm interested in changing my blogger template file which I notice is an XML file. Is there a graphical "wysiwyg" type editor out there for editting XML template files? I found a template on the web that I really like but I want to change parts of it... using the editor inside blogger would be too slow and confusing.

Not for Blogger. This is because there is so much proprietary code that makes the wysiwyg editor at blogger.com work, it just doesn't work anywhere else.

You'll have to do what I did: start teaching yourself XML.

Darn. Any good XML "for dummies" sites that you'd recommend?

Well I had tried a CMS editor that seemed to be ok.I think that editing the Graphical parts is kinda what I want to do as well. So I like to create my own custom graphics using photoshop or something. PLus I have been hearing about a new free WYSIWYG editor for Blogger template (YouCMSAndBlog) .Maybe you should try it. I am going to try it asap.

Liquid Technologies have a free XML Editor that might be worth trying, its easy to use and has lots of nice features like auto complete, syntax highlighting etc
