   I can only speak from my lay opinion from the experience of my life. If it was drums, I'd have an easy answer (Keith Moon), but on guitar it's much more complicated. I guess I'd say Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and (yes) Slash! Those are the best I've heard.

   @timethief- I really admire your list and 4 of the guitarists you mentioned are there in the blog ...
   @theindependentrage- well... I must say you have given the right names, but for slash.. undoubtedly an exceptional guitar player with the a rocker's attitude ... he would definitely have been there if it was a top 10 list or sumthin
   @LadySwan- Yes, Angus Young Also Should have been included ... he has also given some wonderful riffs too ..
