When healthcare reform passes, they won't let anyone have chocolate or cookies or raspberry chipotle glazed bacon wrapped porkchops! I heard it on AM radio

I'm still dying to try making "bacorn."

Good point - however i'd possibly be dead or very sick otherwise.

But everything in moderation (including moderation) right? One little bacon wrapped anything wouldn't hurt.

Bacorn is county wide here in Lawrence Co Tn.I have had several people comment on it from my cooking column. I had a sub from subway with bacon on it. Pays to know someone that works there. More meat for free.

That does look good. The best thing I ever made was a two course dinner starting with spicy tuna ceviche with oven toasted wonton strips. The main entree was slow cooked Korean short rib stew made with plum wine, rice wine, soy sauce, garlic, baby potatoes, baby carrots served with sticky Jasmine rice and sides of spicy-sweet dried squid and spinach gomae.

It was surprising simple to prepare and so good!

On another note, I was at World Market and spotted a chocolate bar with bacon from Vosges chocolate.

      That meal sounds awesome.

I have heard of those but never seen one! I have also made bacon peanut butter cookies, bacon brownies, and bacon chocolate chip cookies

They wanted 7 dollars for a chocolate bar or else I would have bought it.

$7 chocolate bars are not in budget, no matter how interesting they sound. It did inspire me though.

I am going to make bacon chocolate chip cookies this week. I am assuming you have a recipe on your blog. I'll let you know how they come out.

Oh shush ur mouth boy!!! Sounds so good!!!
Guess what I made last night....

I did a whole baked chickn, which was good. But I also bought fresh asperigus and wrapped 3 or 4 stalks at a time in a piece of bacon then on top of that I made a compound butter with salt, pepper, and garlic. I rubbed that over the wraps, and wait I'm still not finished..... I took a little bit of brown sugar and sprinkled over each one
I baked it @375 for about 45 min. Then turned the broiler on the last 5 minutes and it was
    LIKE OH MY GOD,sooooooo gooooood!!!

That sounds great except the chipotle sauce. I actually am not crazy about that. I'm not much of a meat eater. Can you please highlight some more vegetarian recipes?
    1. cookingasshole
I usually do veg stuff because of my lady but I keep getting requests for more meat!
    2. melindaville
Yeah--my husband would love this current recipe. He (like most men I know) can eat pounds of meat a day. But I am much more veggie oriented. You do have some great recipes, CA--and I have actually made several of them.
    3. cookingasshole
they turned out well I assume? Which ones?

My absolute favorite was your crab cakes--and I will be making that recipe for years. I also really liked your scallop and tomato relish recipe. My husband used your rib recipe this last weekend. So, you are gaining some fans in the Tyler household!
    1. cookingasshole
that is music to my ears. Thanks!
