What a pile of hog wash.

If they truly pass this law it means they have nothing with their spare time than to police the area.

Their time would be better spent enforcing littering laws. Spent on law enforcement etc. Rather that crap like that.

If it is pollution they are worried about they should ban driving and a million other things that harm our kids besides smoking.

If smoking is truly that bad (which I know it is) they why not pull them off the market altogether and making it against the law to smoke. Period!!!

I am thrilled to hear this possibility. Second hand smoke is just as dangerous to the body as direct smoke.

Indeed. What a day it will be when nonsmokers don't have to be accosted with the smell of nasty cigarette smoke.

Well you are entitled to your opinion for sure but don't cram it down our throats (so to speak)

Next thing you know all you non smokers will want to rule the world

Sorry need another coffee Hope I didn't offend thee with my comments

Second hand smoke does not affect you in an open environment.
I'm a non-smoker. It is silly. Sure, fine people for littering their stubs in a park. Fine people for damaging a park bench.

Or make smoking and non-smoking areas in the park, the same way you have in a restaurant? Again, policing it is a different matter entirely. Imagine a policeman not arriving at a bank robbery or a rape incident on time with the excuse that he was checking for those dangerous smokers in a non-smoking zone..

Cars still kill more people than just about anything, and they contribute way more to carbon footprints than all smokers combined.

Can't smoke in any of our restaurants in Ontario at all. Not even the ones that have outside patio. Insane I know.

The anti-smoking fascists have had far more success than they could have ever dreamt and now are forced to set their sites on more and more ridiculous goals. If only they could've had the common sense to channel their energies into something useful, like getting rid of real killers, such as cars or guns.

Can't argue with that logic either.

this is all ridiculous. even the idea of smoking and non-smoking sections in a park. smokers cannot be damaging the environment to such a detrimental level that we need to waste more tax dollars and time on this crap. sorry if people are offended, but there are more important issues to be handled.
    1. wenfri
Agreed there are most definitely more serious issues at hand than smoking or non smoking issues

      Here, here!!
