Gtally's Colorado Breakfast

So Gtally has been full of good ideas recently and he suggested I make a breakfast like they do at his super fantastic inn (www.coloradowinecountryinn.com/)
So I took on the challenge this morning and made my own version. Props to Gtally for being so rad.

Wow! Thanks! It looks delicious.
Next time, try making the eggs as a crustless quiche, then layering on the meat and cheese. That will give that tureen effect when you slice it. There's so many variations you could make with this, you could keep spinning off dishes and adding them to your cook book!

I actually don't have a bread pan otherwise I would have done that with the eggs. I know, I know...a cook without a bread pan. I will do many more spinoffs of this...thanks again!

ok I am going shopping for you a bread pan and a cast iron skillet is what is on the list so far.-
hehe...I really need both of those! That is why I make so many muffins! No bread pan.

What!?! That's ludicrous! Go to a restaurant supply store, you can buy anything kitchen-related in any shape or any size. Some of the super-sized bulk kitchen utensils are really cool.

But alas the Dr says I have cholesterol issues, and I eat rabbit food as it is.

Yeah Im pretty good with basic, but the fish cake sandwhiches i wouldnt have thought of.
Only thing is - fish doesnt come cheap so I'm gonna have to catch it myself -
that is the fun part though!

It is when you come home with something, but the last time I went fishing during winter (its winter now) I ended up in the drink myself, with a mobile phone and electronic car keys in my pocket. It was a long empty handed walk home.

Lesson learnt though, hasn't put me off from doing it I guess, just a little more consious of being prepared and putting all electronics in snaplock bags.
Its pretty good though - theres a good spot not far from me where mussels grow off the rocks and all it takes is to cover them in dried grass and set that alight for a free meal off the rocks.
