I'm looking for Guest Blogging Gigs. And if you are too, please drop a line in this discussion.

For those of you unfamiliar with Guest Blogging, it's simply when you contribute a post on another blog (with blessings from the blogmaster.)

Consider this discussion on-line dating thread, where we match blog owners with other guest bloggers.

For me, if you want to me to write for your blog:

1) First check out my blog to get an idea of my writing style and the topics.

2) Then send me an email (it's on the blog), letting me know what you're looking for. (how soon, length of post, dates, etc.)

hey, I'm certainly interested! Actually I'm a high school student and I ahve to do hell lot of preparations with the final exams just 3 months away.....and I can't concentrate on my blog.....so I'm desperately in search of a guest blogger.....anyone interested??

  If the term confuses you, basically "Guest Blogging" is like "Tag Team" in wrestling. As a guest blogger, you are substituting for another blog owner for whatever time period allocated--like a substitute teacher. (The sub comes in and teaches class for the main/original teacher while he/she is away.)

  Why consider Guest Blogging?
  
  Guest Blogging can have several benefits for both the blog owner and the guest blogger.
  
  The Blog Owner:
  - gets reprieve from having to meet his/her many deadlines, especially if he/she posts a blog article 5-7 times a week or more. In essence, the blog owner gains some "stress relief" and frees up some time for him/herself for other pursuits.
  
  The Guest Blogger:
  - gets to show off their "know how" or "writing ability" in front of a brand new audience.
  
  Ideally, the guest blogger will receive a byline, (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byline)
  
  which will amount to a solid flow of traffic from the blog owner site to the guest blogger's site. The guest blogger may not even have a site of his/her own and may be looking for an opportunity to "try blogging out"---to test the waters before beginning his/her own blog.
  
  The stipulations are determined between the blog owner and the guest blogger. The two of them may have different goals with the guest article post, but the deal should be mutually beneficial with both parties best interest in mind.

Hi, I have three sites that I would accept a guest blogger on, a bi-line is fine a short bio at the end of the post in a offset smaller font is also fine. If you are interested in a regular guest blogging opportunity ie post once or twice a week. A separate bio page will be set up.

anyone who wants to can do a quick and easy guest post(s) on webmash.blogspot.com

all you need is
- a page / site you want to post about
- blog title post
- link to the page / site
- links to other relevant pages e.g. FAQ, about page etc
- an extract,quote,screenshot, sample pic, video etc (if relevant)
- details for the link back to your site (URL + text to use)

(posts will all use the format of the most recent posts on the blog - I'll add a 'recommended by:' link between 'From site:' and 'Extract:')

My blog is about design..Im looking for guest bloggers who can post about graffiti wall which originally taken by that guest bloggers him(her)self..
No need to include long words if it's troubling you..just tell me where the location of that graffiti..and why you like it..

Just want to clear out my previous comment:
You can submit some graffiti wall photos which originally taken by your self..Don't grab it from another site. (I will easily know that) An original photo will have better image resolution quality JPG format is prefered!

Lucy! This would be a great group to start. Have the group members make posts with titles like.

OWNER: sekks "topic" guests

WRITER: seeks "topic" blog

Those wanting to be paid, like antibarbie, or willing to pay could put a $ in the title as well.

Then others can go into those threads that are on topics they want to write (or want articles) on and set it up.

If you want to start up such a group, I'll do a post promoting it and I'll volunteer to help as a moderator.
