Guys/MEN, how often do you buy new undies?

Topics: undies completely ripped apart!
I'm not the type of guy who enjoys shopping, especially for clothes. Usually underwear is on the bottom of the priority list. I'll admit, unless they're ripped completely up the damned middle, I'll still wear them. Hell, when I'm with a girl they usually come off with the pants anyways, so I'm not worried about girls saying anything.
So guys, how often do you buy new undies?

The ONLY clothes I buy are socks, tee-shirts and undies. Each about once a year.-

When the old ones break. As long as they're comfortable and not full of holes, I'll keep wearing them.-
I tend to enjoy the holes. They add some nice ventilation.

When the old ones elastic wears out enough that they dont fit anymore or until ripped. I still have some in service from 2-3 years ago.-

When I used to work retail, I would to wear some pants that were completely torn up the middle of the gouche area. One day, while climbing up a ladder for a customer, I realized that I had worn the only pair of boxers I had that were torn in the same area. My ball sack was free falling! ROFL! I still haven't retired them!

i make sure D. gets a few Geoffrey Beene's every 6 months. I buy 2 for $10 at marshalls/tj maxx I buy them for myself because it makes me happy to watch him strut in them. i buy boxer briefs-only thought and it is a sight to be held. -

Lol. As long as there is some cover, i'll still wear them. As of today. The last batch i bought was 2005. Mind you, these were hot thai silk boxers and most of them are still intact!-

When enough holes start making them look stupid to wear. It is the same with the socks. Big toe holes in the sock, I throw them out now.-
Well, I for one don't parade around in my undies so the looking stupid factor goes out the window.
