With all of the uncertainties, lack of tests and negative information surrounding the Swine Flu vaccination, will you choose to issue it to yourself and your children? Why or Why not?

I think I will get it. I know it isn't tested, but the regular flu vaccine is new every year as well.
If I turn into a pig and start mutating... well then I guess it was a bad decision.
However, if I don't get sick all winter, then I'll be happy happy. I didn't get sick last year with the flu shot, so I felt good about that. -

Absolutely not! There was a swine flu outbreak in the US in 1976. The news program "60 Minutes" did an expose on it four years later and it was frightening. Vaccines weren't properly tested, people had violent and sometimes fatal reactions, some people have never fully recovered. I'd rather take my chances with the swine flu than with whatever newfangled sirum they want to stick us with this time.

I can't understand why so many people are afraid of this vaccine. I have heard of hundreds of swine flu DEATHS, but oddly enough, almost no catastrophic reactions to the vaccine. People can be allergic to ANYTHING. Try giving a million people a teaspoon of sugar and some people are going to have reactions. I have not heard any news outlet or mainstream dr. say not to get the vaccine. I am going to get the regular flu vaccine as well as the H1N1 vaccine for me and my kids and not think twice about it.
Here is an exerpt of a BBC article @ news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/8200504.stm
What is the evidence that it is safe?
Both vaccines have been given approval by the European Medicines Agency, the official regulator which licenses new treatments, after thousands of people have taken part in trials.
The regulator concluded both jabs were safe and effective.
The most common side-effects reported during the trial process were minor ones, such as headaches, joint pain, muscle pain, fever and fatigue.
Admittedly, the trial and approval process has been quick - the first trials only started over the summer.
But this fast-tracking is not unusual for flu as it happens every year for the seasonal version.
This can be done because the basic ingredients are the same.
There is some controversy regarding pregnant women as they have not been included in the trial process - they never are.
However, there is a wealth of evidence from seasonal flu vaccine programmes - it is routinely given to pregnant women in the US - that immunisations, similar to the Baxter one, are safe.-
"I have heard of hundreds of swine flu DEATHS, but oddly enough, almost no catastrophic reactions to the vaccine."
From what I have heard, a lot of those deaths are questionnably linked to the swine flu, and the numbers are very much lower to those attributed to seasonal flu.
Further, you may have missed the results of the flu vaccination campaign in Sweden.

Definitely NOT! It's all politics and money!! I have Gulf War Syndrome because of the experimental vaccinations the government gave me in '90. They're not going to experiment on my children just so the vaccine makers can become even richer! The vaccine makers have been granted immunity from lawsuits, so if the vaccine causes severe side effects, it will too bad...you're on your own!

"No one should take the swine flu vaccine—it is one of the most dangerous vaccines ever devised. It contains an immune adjuvant called squalene (MF-59) which has been shown to cause severe autoimmune disorders such as MS, rheumatoid arthritis and Lupus. This is the vaccine adjuvant that is strongly linked to the Gulf War syndrome, which killed over 10,000 soldiers and caused a 200% increase in the fatal disease ALS (Lou Gehreg disease). This virus H1N1 kills by causing a “cytokine storm”, which means that it causes the body’s immune system to overreact and that is why it is killing young people and is a mild disease in the elderly. (The elderly have weakened immune systems.) This vaccine is a very powerful immune stimulator and carries the real possibility of making the lethality of the virus much greater."

I decided to opt out on the swine flu shot after seeing what it did to some of my friends. I did weigh the pros and cons and talk with my doctor who agreed with my decision. I was also told it isn't any worse than any other flu. Too much hype in the media causes some to disregard the side effects which are even worse than the flu.
