I will be celebrating by visiting my folks and spending quality time with them and the rest of the family.

Today and tomorrow I am cleaning out my home and getting it fresh for the new year.

And blowing up lots of fireworks!

    Happy Diwali!

I worked with a number of colleagues from Southern India and got to learn a bit about the holiday, share some of the foods, and hear about the firecrackers. Such a nice celebration!

Every celebration is nice! Actually, when I post this question: how you rejoice, it doesn't have to be just Diwali. I was thinking about how you rejoice in your everyday life.

The first time I saw the sweets with the silver foil on the top, it was quite amazing. Just didn't seem like it could be real-- or edible. :-)
