   Ive done joomla, I wouldnt choose Dolphin as it still has bugs with registering the ray module.

   lafrance, the site for dndtalk - that's yours, right? Why does it have that Joomla ad on the front - did you put that there or is that one of those things you have to pay to remove? It looks good! You have active users, are you considering something else?

   Has anyone used ELGG? I have an install of it and it seems pretty nifty. I will be setting up a social networking site for one of of the magazines we publish. I use Joomla for our Intranet and I love it, but the people I am going to be turning this project to after its up are not going to be able to handle it.
   
   ELGG - elgg.org/ - does most of what they want. Anyone else have any experience with it?

   Yes that site is one of mine.Reason for the ad never removed it yet.as site still beta and not finish coding and tweaking it before moving it.
   Yes next project alpha is music I have a pation for drm free style music and indi music.So working on 2 alpha project.
   1 list of all indi music bio or artist and were to buy there music link display later.

   I hope to use the pligg software for my community ideas someday. I tried it on my local wampx and it was buggy but I think I just set it aside... I probably would have resolved the problem. I did not try it on my live webspace at all yet.
   
   I actually have a novel idea of how to use another software to make a community but I am keeping it secret for now...
