Has the economical and political turmoil affected your personal life?

It seems to me that a lot of the people I know are having marital or relationship problems.
Is it just my impression or is the current economical and political crisis affecting our personal lives?

Yes. I live in inner city Atlanta (unemployment well over 15%) and our crime rates have shot threw the roof, making it much more difficult for people to feel comfortable really enjoying the city. I still do, but a lot of my friends refuse to for safety reasons.-
During the great depression crime and violence shut through the roof.
I don't see the same thing happening again or maybe it does but it is not reported in the news?

They say married couples argue about 3 things: in-laws, sex, & money. So yeah, if they are having bad financial times in the home, then that come result in divorce. I've seen it happen. Usually there are other factors involved also. I haven't seem much change in my personal life. My 16 year old son, even, just found a job bussing tables.
